seen. A perfect fairytale fantasy!"

dress Donald Trump's wife paid for hers...wasn't it $500,000 or
something?
FASHION

Best things about the Wedding
The
WEDDING DRESS!!!
I loved it...I mean I really LOVED it...even though I stayed up
all night working on it...and I thought it would never get
finished and it didn't have all it 's beading on the bodice and
the extended train... I still think it was PERFECT and very
surprised it fit since the first time I tried it on was when I
was at the actually ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful!!!
The LOCATION...Yes!
the Everett Mansion at Southern Vermont College in Bennington,
Vermont was absolutely beautiful! Everyone agreed it was truly
an amazing place with it's cascading fountain, stone courtyard,
elegant ballroom, perfect lawns and secluded garden. I'm sure
everyone felt like they were a part of a romantic fantasy
fairytale and did not want it to end!
The WEATHER...Oh
my God! I got so lucky...it rained the entire week before and
continued to rain afterwards...but just for that day it decided
to stop 3 hours before the wedding. So, it was nearly
perfect...not too sunny...not too cloudy...a little warm in the
sun waiting for the bride...but there weren't any complaints
from the wedding party who were all wearing velvet.
The GROOM...I
must say the groom was an important part of the wedding!!! He
did look pretty snazzy in his coat, although I was still working
on it, as well, the morning of the wedding. I must say it was
worth it after all, but at 5:ooam in the morning I was swearing
I would never make him another.
My MOM...for
helping sew the night before the wedding...she added the bow to
the back of my gown which matched the ring pillow she made and
the table cloths. Hey...it's perfectly fine to match the tables
when they are metallic gold with flowers all over them!
My SISTER IN LAW...Oh
boy! did she save me on the wedding books...we had the covers
made to match the beautiful wedding invitations, but there were
no pages and she managed to get most of the printing together in
just a of couple hours...so we actually had our vows to read
during the ceremony.
The DANCERS...Yes!
I had belly dancers at the wedding during and after dinner. I
really liked the costumes that we all worked on and can't wait
to see the video of us dancing.
The DESSERTS...We
had a beautiful carrot cake (as I requested) and two cheese
cakes that were yummy! But I'm not sure why the mixed berry pies
and chocolate raspberry cake were not put out?
The DINNER...I
was very disappointed that we did not have the salmon wrapped
hors d'oeuvres we requested or the duck! Fortunately the grilled
chicken, salmon, vegetable kabobs, corn on the cob and salad
were excellent.
My FRIENDS...for
helping with the music, getting the tables arranged and the
brides garments hung up.
Worst
things about the Wedding
The EVENT
COORDINATOR...I'm
not going to dwell on the bad parts for too long, but I can't go
without saying that the event could have been almost perfect
except the reception was cut short. I mean the event coordinator
just decided to take it upon himself to start taking down the
tables in the middle of our dance performance...which of course
made every one think it was time to go...so the music ended
quite quickly and there was very little dancing. In fact the
Bride and Groom's first dance was their only dance together!
BUT...MY DRESS WAS PERFECT!!!
