Who We Are...What We Do

We design (to make a drawing, pattern, or sketch) and make (to bring into being by forming, shaping, or altering material) garments (an article of clothing) and pieces (a literary, journalistic, artistic, dramatic, or musical composition) with the material (the substance used to make things), fabric (a material that resembles cloth) and trim (to decorate or embellish something) that we have in our inventory (a list of goods on hand) or that the designer (one that creates and manufactures a new product style or design: especially : one who designs and manufactures high-fashion clothing) prefers to work with to create (to make or bring into existence something new) one-of-a-kind (unique, exceptional, irreplaceable, special, inimitable, incomparable), limited editions (an issue of something collectible that is advertised to be limited to a relatively small number of copies) and made-to-order (produced to supply a special or an individual demand) items (a single thing in a group or collection of things) for special (distinct, different, unusual, or superior in comparison to others of the same kind )occasions (a particular time, especially a time when something happens) such as a wedding (to join two people in marriage), prom (a formal dance for high-school or college students, usually held at the end of the school year ) or evening ( a social gathering, meeting, or entertainment held in the evening) event ( an occurrence, especially one that is particularly significant, interesting, exciting, or unusual).

Although, our gowns (a woman's full-length elegant or formal dress for special occasions), dresses (a one-piece garment for women and girls combining a bodice, with or without sleeves, and a skirt, and covering most of the body) and clothing (clothes collectively) are specially-made (created for a specific purpose, requirement, or need) this does not mean we accept orders (an instruction to do something) for custom-made (made to individual specifications) items (an object of attention, concern, or interest). However, we will take requests (an act of politely or formally asking that something be done or given), we recommend taking your ideas (a visible representation of a conception : a replica of a pattern) to a seamstress (a woman whose occupation is sewing) if they are not similar (having characteristics in common : strictly comparable) to our style (a distinctive quality, form, or type of something : fashionable elegance : beauty, grace, or ease of manner or technique). We also do NOT make alterations (the act or process of altering: the state of being altered) or do gown fittings (an action or act of one that fits; specifically : a trying on of clothes which are in the process of being made or altered) to clothing (garments in general), but may alter (to make different without changing into something else) a pattern (something designed {the way in which something is planned and made} or used as a model for making things) before sewing (material that has been or is to be sewed).

As a creative (using or showing use of the imagination to create new ideas or things) artist (somebody who creates art, especially paintings or sculptures) designer (somebody who designs things, especially fashionable and expensive clothes) and dressmaker (one that makes dresses) we use an artistic (showing imaginative skill in arrangement or execution) license (permission to act : freedom of action) when creating our special (designed for a particular purpose) occasion (a time at which something happens) wear (to bear or have on the person) and clothes (garments that cover the body). We use the fabrics (any type of cloth made from woven, knitted, or felted thread or fibers) and materials (the elements, constituents, or substances of which something is composed or can be made for) that we feel are suitable (adapted to a use or purpose) in designing (to plan and make something in a skillful or artistic way) our unique (distinctively characteristic) and unusual (rare: not common or familiar) collections (a number of different pieces, objects of one kind, or newly designed clothing gathered together or collected for their interest, value, or beauty) and art (the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects; also : works so produced).

Although, we specialize (to concentrate and devote time exclusively to particular activity, area, interest, skill, field of study particular or group of products) in couture (the business of designing, making, and selling fashionable customized (to build, fit, or alter according to individual specifications} women's clothing) we do not limited ourselves to high style (the newest style in fashion or design usually adopted by a limited number of people) or haute couture (designers that created exclusive {limiting or limited to possession: restricted in distribution, use, or appeal because of expense} and often trend-setting fashions { a garment in such a style} for women). We also carry (contain and direct the course of) ready to wear (ready-made) garments that are made in limited (on which some form of limit or restriction is imposed) quantity (an amount or number of something) or production (something produced: PRODUCT) in our boutique (a small fashionable specialty shop or business : a small company that offers highly specialized services) or studio (artist's workplace: a place where an artist {skilled person: somebody who does something skillfully and creatively}, photographer, or musician works) showroom (room for displaying retail products: a room in which goods for sale).
