Sizing
How do I know what size I am?
Our sizes run larger and most of our garments stretch,
so it is very important that you do both of these steps
to ensure your garment is the closest size to your
measurements. The first thing is to
A) Take Your
Measurements,
then you will want to
B) Compare Your Measurements to
our
Size
Charts.
Do
not go off of your normal dress size or your bra size.
Can
you alter my gown in the waist/bust to fit me?
We
can make slight alterations to a gown when constructing
your garment, but recommend taking your garment to a
seamstress in your area for a in-person fitting for
minor alterations. If you would like your garment made
to your measurements there will be
Additional Fees.
Can
you hem my gown to my desired length?
We can alter the length on any made-to-measure gown
since it is cut from a pattern created just for you! If
you are ordering a gown style that is already made or
has been pre-cut to a standard length then we suggest taking your gown to a seamstress in your
area.
Can
you add length to a gown?
We
can usually add length
to most
gowns for an additional charge. If you are wanting a
longer train on a wedding gowns it is an additional per
foot charge. If you need a plus size gown the length may be
limited by the fabric width. Please see our Size
Charts.
Can
a gown be made in a larger size?
Our inventory garments and samples are usually made sizes 2-12. Larger sizes
14-24 are available for an additional 30% and size 26 &
above is an additional 50%. If you need a
size larger than
listed on our size charts it will be a
custom order and may require a personal meeting with
the designer. Please see our
Size
Charts
for
sizes available.
